Food & Ingredients

What type of meat do you use for Carne Asada?+
We use premium beef — Sirloin and Ribeye steak, grilled fresh on our flat-top grill.
What type of meat do you use for Pastor?+
We use pork butt (pierna de puerco), thinly sliced and cooked on our trompo.
What is Adobada (Pastor)?+
Adobada is marinated pork butt, thinly sliced and marinated in our special mole sauce for 24 hours. It's then cooked on our rotating trompo — the real deal, authentic Mexico City style.
Do you make your tortillas in-house?+
Yes! We make both corn and flour tortillas fresh in-house. The only exception is our burrito tortillas, which are sourced to ensure the perfect size and texture.
Do you use vegetable or synthetic oils?+
Yes, we use soy oil for cooking.
Do you have vegetarian options?+
Yes! We offer cactus (nopales), rice, and beans. You can build a delicious vegetarian taco or plate with these options.
What gluten-free options do you have?+
Our corn tortillas are gluten-free. Most of our meats and salsas are also naturally gluten-free. Please inform our staff of any allergies.

Drinks

How is your horchata made?+
Our horchata is made with a base of rice and evaporated milk, sweetened with cane sugar. Creamy, refreshing, and made fresh daily.
How is your jamaica (hibiscus) made?+
Our jamaica is an infusion of hibiscus flower sweetened with cane sugar. A traditional Mexican agua fresca, tart and refreshing.
Do you offer free refills on drinks?+
No, we don't offer free refills on aguas frescas or other drinks.

Payment & Service

Why don't you accept cash?+
We're a cashless restaurant for security and accounting purposes. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
What is the 10% service fee?+
The 10% service fee is recognition of good work for each member of our team. It goes directly to our hardworking taqueros and staff.

Locations & Hours

Where is Taquería de Diez located?+
We have two Austin locations: Downtown at 206 Trinity St Unit 110 (78701), and South Lamar at 2110 S Lamar Blvd Suite C (78704). A third location in Westlake is coming soon!
What are your hours?+
Both locations are open Sunday-Wednesday 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and Thursday-Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:00 AM. We're one of Austin's best late-night taco spots!
Is there parking?+
Downtown: Street parking and nearby parking garages are available. South Lamar: We have two parking lots with free parking for customers.

Can I order online?+
Yes! You can order online for pickup through our website at taqueriadediez.com/order or through delivery apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats.
Do you offer catering?+
Yes! We cater events of all sizes — corporate lunches, weddings, parties, and SXSW events. Visit taqueriadediez.com/catering or contact us for a custom quote.
